Here is the recipe for Manga arachu kalakki from amma:

  • 2 (big) or 3 (small) Kadugu (Vadu) maanga - Rinsed in water
  • 1 cup grated fresh coconut
  • 3 green chillies
  • curd
  • salt
  • mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, oil for seasoning

Grind the first three ingredients into a smooth paste.
Add curd and mix well. Check salt (as the manga already has some salt) and add some more if you wish.
Season with mustard and fenugreek seeds spluttered in hot oil.

I love it with "Molagooshyam".
